Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Opportunities
At YWCA NYC, volunteers play a crucial role in helping us achieve our mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. While we currently do not have any volunteer opportunities available, we are excited to announce that new opportunities will be coming soon.
Stay tuned for updates and be ready to join us in making a difference in the lives of women and youth throughout New York City. Your time and talents can help create a more equitable and inclusive community. Check back regularly or sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when volunteer positions open up. We look forward to working with you!
Young Professionals Leadership Council (YPLC)
In 2023, the YWCA NYC launched the Young Professionals Leadership Council (YPLC), bringing together professionals from diverse backgrounds and industries to serve as mentors for students, provide skills and expertise, and assist in fundraising efforts that advance YW's mission.
There are many ways to get involved! Volunteer activities include but are not limited to: panels and workshops, planning meetings, event help, social gatherings, networking and more. Time commitment is flexible.
If you're interested in learning more about volunteering and becoming a YPLC member, please contact Tracy Davis.
